About Me
Hi! I'm Leslie, a small reading group mastery coach, 1st grade teacher, author of Small Groups Made Easy and LiteracyLaunchpad, wife, mama to 4, and I am proof that you can build a beautiful life and find fulfillment as a teacher, anywhere- not just in a small town.
Personal Life
I have been teaching for 16 years, 10 of which were in an urban school. We moved to a beautiful little small town and now have 3 dogs, 15 chickens, and a bunny. We also just built our dream house and keep busy chasing our kids around.
Experience
I have a Masters in Curriculum Development, an ESL and Technology endorsement, and am certified in LETRS. But my most favorite accomplishment is my family. I love being with my kids at school and have even got to teach them! If you are a working-teacher-mom, I see you!
